Carver is a historic neighborhood located between Downtown Richmond and North Side. The neighborhood is home to an abundance of VCU students, great restaurants and two national historic districts, The Carver Industrial Historic District and Carver Residential Historic District. Carver is home to a variety of architectural styles, including Colonial Revival, Queen Anne, and Italianate, among others. Many of the homes in Carver were built in the late 19th and early 20th centuries and have since been updated and restored. With its rich history and well-preserved homes, Carver is a very desirable neighborhood in Richmond, Virginia.
